Hi my name is Rowan Haddow I'm 22 and a aspiring games developer. I'm currently a master’s student, studying Software Enterprise at Sunderland University. My passion is games and I'd like to in the future set up my own indie games development company called Grimlegacy productions. I'm working on my first major game project called 'This is a Zombie Town!'.

This is a temporary website to promote my first game, I dont have alot of time on my hands and I'd rather pay someone to do one for me cause I find making websites boring.

I graduated in 09 with a first class honours degree in Multimedia Games at Sunderland University where I was also awarded the Academic Prize for being top in my class. (yeah yeah yeah...show off) This has given me a headstart into games design.

I like my games to be different, unique and quirky like me. I think new design choices for games is the way to go with all these new trends such as social and casual gaming and the likes of digital distribution is the way forward. To stand out you need alittle bit of zing, something which says hey! I like what you do, its new lets try it out. I'm all for it, thats why I've trying new innovative concepts with my first zombie game. I love zombies, I love making games - what an excellent combination.

Through being a part of the masters course and the Sunderland Software Hatchery I’ve been given access to a great mentoring staff such as: Chris Knowles the new program leader for the Multimedia Games course I was on and a experienced programmer, Odin Taylor an experienced AI programmer in the games industry and Dave Sharp who's been and done more things in the gaming industry than I have time to explain! (That and I can't be bothered)
